OEL Testing From Hosokawa

On-site OEL testing, carried out in accordance with ISPE Guidelines, by Hosokawa, enables customers to benefit from specialist containment expertise and an in-depth understanding of their containment requirements at all stages of construction and operation – including prior to installation in factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) following installation.

Hosokawa Operator Exposure Level testing services cover downflow booths, filling and weighing systems, laminar flow cabinets and isolator/gloveboxes with tests designed to assess levels of operator exposure and validation of the performance of containment systems and equipment.

Performed by Hosokawa’s air monitoring trained and IOSH certified, industrial chemist,  OEL testing  can ensure your containment equipment meets legal requirements for safe operation, before and after installation or whenever operational changes are required.

A schedule of air monitoring tests is established in accordance with defined methods and protocols recommended by the ISPE in their Guidelines. These serve to deliver consistent, repeatable data for evaluation of the equipment against a series of material hazard control bands. Such tests are integral to Hosokawa’s full OEL certification service and are developed in conjunction with individual customers and remain subject to risk assessment and HACCP review.

Sample analysis is completed by a third party analytical laboratory to ensure independent evaluation. Sample results are reported over the task duration.
